Vegetables with Dressing Casserole - Alice Kuhar's Recipes

VEGETABLES WITH DRESSING CASSEROLE
|
Ingredients:
2 Pkgs. (20 oz. each) frozen vegetables
(cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, brussels sprouts, etc. any combination)

1 Box Stove Top Dressing Mix for Chicken
|
1/2 can (or more) cream of chicken soup
|
2 ozs. (1/2 pkg.) Pepperidge Herb Seasoned Stuffing
|
1/2 cup sour cream
|
1/2 stick (1/4 cup) melted butter
|
|
Directions:
- Cook frozen vegetables as directed on package. Do not overcook.
- Prepare Stove Top Dressing according to package directions ( You may wish to use only 1 / 2 of the seasoning package instead of entire package). Make dressing on the dry side.
- Mix together cream of chicken soup and sour cream.
- Combine melted butter and Pepperidge seasoned stuffing.
- Drain cooked vegetables. Mix together the chicken soup mixture with vegetables.
- In a buttered 9x12-inch casserole, spread Stove Top Dressing. Spoon vegetables on top. Sprinkle with buttered Pepperidge stuffing crumbs.
Bake in a preheated 350 degrees oven for 25-30minutes. Serves 6-8 persons.
