Vegetables with Dressing Casserole - Alice Kuhar's Recipes

2 Pkgs. (20 oz. each) frozen vegetables
(cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, brussels sprouts, etc. any combination)
1 Box Stove Top Dressing Mix for Chicken
1/2 can (or more) cream of chicken soup
2 ozs. (1/2 pkg.) Pepperidge Herb Seasoned Stuffing
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 stick (1/4 cup) melted butter
  1. Cook frozen vegetables as directed on package. Do not overcook.
  2. Prepare Stove Top Dressing according to package directions ( You may wish to use only 1 / 2 of the seasoning package instead of entire package). Make dressing on the dry side.
  3. Mix together cream of chicken soup and sour cream.
  4. Combine melted butter and Pepperidge seasoned stuffing.
  5. Drain cooked vegetables. Mix together the chicken soup mixture with vegetables.
  6. In a buttered 9x12-inch casserole, spread Stove Top Dressing. Spoon vegetables on top. Sprinkle with buttered Pepperidge stuffing crumbs.
    Bake in a preheated 350 degrees oven for 25-30minutes. Serves 6-8 persons.
