Allan Parrish

Allan Parrish was born and raised in southwestern PA. A few weeks before his high school graduation in 1965, Allan made his debut on a suburban Pittsburgh radio station and within a month landed a daily radio show.

Following a tour with the US Air Force and CWRU law school, Allan returned to radio and moved to Ohio. He joined WELW where he did a special weekend oldies show. He also hosted a Saturday night request show on WRMR.

The multi-faceted Parrish, known by listeners and fellow broadcasters as "The Dean of the Dusty Discs," co-wrote a newspaper column for the Lake County News Herald for 13 years. He is also creates crossword puzzles for the LA Times syndicate.
